NYCTBA Summer 2014 Registration
« on: April 06, 2014, 08:16:39 PM »
This is for the SUMMER 2014 NYCTBA Program and EVERYONE must register (whether you were a T/O or not).

Hey guys. So the NYCTBA Program is looking for employees to operate the New York City OpenBVE Transit System. You can register and become an employee after going through basic training sessions at the Motorman Institute. After successfully completing the training, you will be assigned to work a specific line for a specified period of time. You will be paid based on performance (in tokens) as r you operate your train on your line. As you continue on working the line, you will be able to advance your way to eventually choosing your own line.

Please note, we are only accepting Operator positions. There are NO Dispatcher/Tower positions available. Also, all Motorman Institute Classes and events will occur on the OpenBVE Connection Teamspeak Server.

All users must show their performance while working on their assigned line. You will be sending OpenBVE logs (which are generated automatically by OpenBVE when playing Arcade OR Normal Mode) to the Program Director, in which we will be providing you with the links and how to do the logs shortly. You must be using OpenBVE for this program. We will NOT be accepting BVE 2/4 logs. A topic page will be provided about where the logs will be sent and how the logs should look.

Unlike the previous NYCTBA programs, we will be adding incentives to this program, meaning actual prizes for the Top performer of the Month and/or week. A post related to this will be revealed soon as we figure out how we are going to proceed with this.

If you are willing and ready to work for the NYCTBA program, please register by listing your username and 1 thing you like about transit below and we will respond as soon as possible. Also, all current members must re-apply for this position as well.

One thing I like about transit is that I can tell people who don't know transit and tell them how to get someplace

Ive been riding the NYC Transit system since i was 11. I would take the B57 to the B44 to school and i would ride the M,J, and L lines.  My mother used to ride the B57 and M,J,L train lines round trip just because i enjoyed the ride.  My uncle took me to work and worked on the Jamaica queens train lines.  I stood standing next to the R46 and it was a giant next to me and said one day i wanted to feel the speed, and freedom on those tracks.  Open BVE gave me that chance.  I would like to be a OPEN BVE Transit train operator.  Hope to hear from you soon

1 Thing I Like About Transit... : What can't you like about transit? Especially the MTA Transit with all the high-tech buses and subway cars coming, there's always something to look forward to. Never gets old.
