OMSI Development / Re: New York City OMSI
« on: November 09, 2014, 04:50:37 PM »
If you want to do a map, try doing the Crosstown lines first (M8, M42, M50, etc.) as those are the easiest routes. Whatever you need just let us know. Good luck.

First off, make sure you are using the latest version of OpenBVE. I believe OpenBVE below 1.4 cannot use "flac" audio files. Also make sure your sounds are correctly in the "Sound" folder, not "Sounds" folder. If that doesn't work, reply and we'll try to get it working on your computer somehow.

NYCTBA / NYCTBA Summer 2014 Registration
« on: April 06, 2014, 08:16:39 PM »
This is for the SUMMER 2014 NYCTBA Program and EVERYONE must register (whether you were a T/O or not).

Hey guys. So the NYCTBA Program is looking for employees to operate the New York City OpenBVE Transit System. You can register and become an employee after going through basic training sessions at the Motorman Institute. After successfully completing the training, you will be assigned to work a specific line for a specified period of time. You will be paid based on performance (in tokens) as r you operate your train on your line. As you continue on working the line, you will be able to advance your way to eventually choosing your own line.

Please note, we are only accepting Operator positions. There are NO Dispatcher/Tower positions available. Also, all Motorman Institute Classes and events will occur on the OpenBVE Connection Teamspeak Server.

All users must show their performance while working on their assigned line. You will be sending OpenBVE logs (which are generated automatically by OpenBVE when playing Arcade OR Normal Mode) to the Program Director, in which we will be providing you with the links and how to do the logs shortly. You must be using OpenBVE for this program. We will NOT be accepting BVE 2/4 logs. A topic page will be provided about where the logs will be sent and how the logs should look.

Unlike the previous NYCTBA programs, we will be adding incentives to this program, meaning actual prizes for the Top performer of the Month and/or week. A post related to this will be revealed soon as we figure out how we are going to proceed with this.

If you are willing and ready to work for the NYCTBA program, please register by listing your username and 1 thing you like about transit below and we will respond as soon as possible. Also, all current members must re-apply for this position as well.
