NYCTBA / NYCTBA 2016 WorkForce Information
« on: February 19, 2016, 02:22:56 PM »
Hey guys. So the NYCTBA Program is looking for employees to operate the New York City OpenBVE Transit System. You can register and become an employee after going through basic training sessions at the Motorman Institute. After successfully completing the training, you will be assigned to work a specific line for a specified period of time. You will be paid based on performance (in tokens) as you operate your train on your line. As you continue on working the line, you will be able to advance your way to eventually choosing your own line.

Please note, we are only accepting Train Operator positions. There are NO Dispatcher/Tower positions available. Also, all Motorman Institute Classes and events will occur on the OpenBVE Community Teamspeak Server.

All users must show their performance while working on their assigned line. You will be sending OpenBVE logs (which are generated automatically by OpenBVE when playing Arcade OR Normal Mode) to the Program Director, in which we will be providing you with the links and how to do the logs shortly. You must be using OpenBVE for this program. We will NOT be accepting BVE 2/4 logs. A topic page will be provided about where the logs will be sent and how the logs should look.

Unlike the previous NYCTBA programs, we will be adding incentives to this program, meaning actual prizes for the Top performer of the Month and/or week. A post related to this will be revealed soon as we figure out how we are going to proceed with this.

If you are willing and ready to work for the NYCTBA program, please register by listing your username and 1 thing you like about transit below and we will respond as soon as possible. Also, all current members must re-apply for this position as well. Please mention if you were previously a Tower operator.

Long time ago when I was first a developer I created a Crosstown to Brooklyn.

After reviewing a lot of stuff I am going to remake the line to help better serve people who have creativity in their minds. For those who want to help can send me a PM or if you have me on Facebook you can send me a message there.

I need some of the following:

- two person for manual announcements
- ideas of a line that can either join or make connections with

I'll add to the list as I think of more. Thanks again guys.
